Youth win for Team Wellington

Team Wellington got off the mark in the ASB Youth League on Wednesday night with a 5-1 victory over Heartland Wairarapa at Memorial Park in Wellington.

A first half double to Kwame Norku and a Heartland Wairarapa own goal had the hosts 3-0 up at halftime before Norku completed his hat-trick just before the hour mark for 4-0.

Heartland Wairarapa captain Taylor Hall-Jones pulled a goal back for the visitors with 20 minutes to go before a strike from Team Wellington substitute Finn Moore completed the scoring.

Team Wellington move into second place on the ASB Youth League ladder while Heartland Wairarapa are in bottom spot after two losses from their two outings to date.
