Cameron Howieson will look to revive his professional football career by impressing with Team Wellington this summer.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder played for Scottish second division side St Mirren last season, but his one-year deal was not extended in May after he made 15 appearances for the club.
He scored his lone goal for the season on his debut against Rangers. Howieson joined St Mirren after three years with the Burnley academy in England, which resulted in just two first team appearances.
He has played nine times for the New Zealand senior team since making his debut in 2012 in a friendly against El Salvador, with his last game in 2014.
