Late goals, Hawke's Bay United coach sent off as Team Wellington claim first win

A fast and furious final 20 minutes has seen Team Wellington snatch a dramatic first win of the season.

The defending Stirling Sports Premiership champions downed Hawke's Bay United 4-2 at Park Island in Napier on Sunday.

There was only one goal in the first 70 minutes, a 16th minute effort from Team Wellington's Ben Harris, before the game exploded into life.

Former Team Wellington player Saul Halpin equalised for Hawke's Bay with 20 minutes to go, but the most contentious moment came eight minutes later as Hawke's Bay goalkeeper Josh Hill brought down a Team Wellington attacker in the box.
